ACC and its Wisconsin chapter recently submitted a letter urging the Wisconsin Board of Bar Examiners to consider a proposal which would broaden the permission for non-locally licensed in-house counsel to practice pro bono on behalf of those in need. For those of you who did not have a chance to sign your name to the Board of Bar Examiners letter, we expect another opportunity to submit the letter to the Wisconsin Supreme Court in the near future. We extend this opportunity for you to join us on this important issue and support a nationwide movement that recognizes the capacity of in-house counsel to address the growing access to justice crisis in our country today.
